@ 1466 The outcome of rejecting Prophet Muhammad 44:10-16
44:10 Watch for the Day when the heaven will bring clear smoke,
# فَارْتَقِبْ يَوْمَ تَأْتِي السَّمَاءُ بِدُخَانٍ مُّبِينٍ 10
44:11 engulfing the people; this will be a painful punishment.
# يَغْشَى النَّاسَ هَذَا عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ 11
44:12 'Our Lord, remove this punishment from us, we are believers. '
# رَبَّنَا اكْشِفْ عَنَّا العَذَابَ إِنَّا مُؤْمِنُونَ 12
44:13 But how will they avail themselves of the Reminder, when a clear Messenger had already come to them
# أَنَّى لَهُمُ الذِّكْرَى وَقَدْ جَاءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ مُّبِينٌ 13
44:14 but then they turned away from him, saying, 'He is tutored, mad!'
# ثُمَّ تَوَلَّوْا عَنْهُ وَقَالُوا مُعَلَّمٌ مَّجْنُونٌ 14
44:15 We are removing the punishment a little, but you revert.
# إِنَّا كَاشِفُوا العَذَابِ قَلِيلاً إِنَّكُمْ عَائِدُونَ 15
44:16 But on that Day We will assault them most mightily, and then We shall revenge!
# يَوْمَ نَبْطِشُ البَطْشَةَ الكُبْرَى إِنَّا مُنتَقِمُونَ 16
